Wire Portraits

In this assignment students were asked to draw the person sitting across the table from them without lifting their pencil form the paper. This is something often asked of first year art college students, so you can imagine that third, fourth, and fifth graders found it a bit challenging. That was just the warm up to working with the wire! Next they had to draw their partners using armature wire, and try their best to use as few pieces as possible to create a continuous line. Challenging for any artist. I think these students did exceptionally well.
